About our
service: We service the rare film enthusiast. We source out-of-print media
for schools, churches, higher education authorities, television companies and
film studios. We have worked with hundreds of people in the film industry to
track down lost treasures so that they may live on. We work closely with other
film enthusiasts and companies worldwide. If we had been around 30 years ago
those treasured lost episodes of Dr Who would never have gone
missing!
We source rare films from all over the world. Films are
supplied to us in region 0 or region 2 dvd format. Aside from the region coding
the film will be in either the NTSC (USA / Canada)
or PAL (Europe / Australasia) format. Most dvd and
video systems are capable of playing both but we would advise you check your
system first.
Video conversion: We can only convert footage you
own personally such as your wedding day and family memories. We transfer using
only the highest quality equipment and materials. The average transfer time is
about 2 weeks. We strongly advise you send valuable items by registered post or
a courier service. We will keep a backup copy for a period of one month from
the job completion date as a safeguard against lost or damaged items. We would
suggest you contact us within one month if you require further copies. We are
also able to convert cine film and slides to DVD. Please note we use a third
party for this service so all quotes will be approxiamate.
Film
copyrights: All the films in our catalog are supplied as original region 2
or region 0 dvds. There are a few films we can supply on dvd-r format where we
have obtained permission from the existing copyright holder. We are currently
updating our catalog to comply with FACT and BBFC regulations. In all cases
where you see a title for sale unavailable elsewhere it is either in the public
domain (where copyright ownership no longer applies) or we have been granted
permission by a principal copyright holder.

In all cases where we quote a price on this site, postage and packaging
will be included for addresses anywhere in the world. All orders are dispatched
by first class post in the UK and by airmail overseas. Proof of postage is
always obtained. Vicpine will not be held responsible for items lost in the

request items are sent by registered post at an extra cost of £5.30 due
to the postal problems in this country.European customers should allow 14 days
for delivery. Customers outside Europe should allow 21 days for delivery
however delivery times are usually much quicker than this. Please contact us
