Highway To Hell (1984)(dvd)

Synopsis: Eric Stoltz plays Danny Hicks, a young man wrongfully convicted of murdering his father and who is then sentenced to death. After a hasty escape from a squad car, Stolz hooks up with Monica Carrico, a prostitute, who is drawn to him by a sense of déjà vu. Stolz then blunders across the country with Carrico in tow, killing several people who get in his way. A bit long and bleak, but well acted, especially by the two leads. For a good laugh, don't miss the early scene involving a Nixon Halloween mask.
