Stagecoach (1966) Available on all-region DVD
Synopsis: It's no
masterpiece, but it's not a total disaster, either, and the producers shrewdly
decided against filming in Monument Valley, electing for the plains and
mountains of Colorado instead. As the Ringo Kid, Alex Cord is certainly no John
Wayne, but Van Heflin and Ann-Margret contribute solid performances.
It's also notable as being Bing Crosby's final big-screen appearance.
Connoisseurs might spot the celebrated American artist Norman Rockwell among
the townspeople, and his paintings provide the backgrounds to the credit
titles.
This made for TV movie is public domain.
