From IMDB.COM: This is a wonderful little movie. While it
centers on the character played by Hayley Mills and her storyline, to me, its
more about all the people in this British countryside community. Each one
unique, down to earth, in close quarters interacting with each other. It fits
all of them in a nice "tight" package. I'm very glad I just happened to see it.
This recording is an excellent copy taken from BBC2 in December 2004. N.B. The
first few seconds of the opening credits are missing.

Born Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills in London in 1946, she is
the daughter of the great actor John Mills and the well-known
novelist-playwright Mary Hayley Bell. Her sister is the actress Juliet Mills.
She grew up in her parents' home, an outgoing, funny child, and, because she
spent so much time with her parents and their friends, very intelligent.
