Obsessed (1992)

Synopsis: Shannen Doherty had established herself as a teenage terror supreme in films such as Heathers — and with off-screen antics while starring in Beverly Hills 90210 — when she made this rather less exalted project, a sort of junior Fatal Attraction.

Doherty plays an impressionable youngster who falls rather badly for the much older William Devane and, when she is finally rejected by him, proceeds to make his life hell. The story is a tad improbable, but the two stars give it all they've got. Although director Jonathan Sanger manages to generate some suspense, he is hamstrung by the constraints of the TV-movie format.
