The Strangler (1964)(dvd)

Synopsis: Released to capitalise on the Boston Strangler frenzy of the time, this racy black-and-white thriller is better than most exploitation features. Young Boston nurses have been murdered, but the chief suspect, a solitary lab technician obsessed with dolls (played with relish by a creepy Victor Buono), seems to have an iron-clad alibi, which even a lie-detector test can't shake. Ellen Corby (Grandma Walton) plays his possessive and hated mother.
