Synopsis: Barbara Stanwyck's last theatrical feature is a lame Psycho imitation from producer/director William Castle, who lit up the 1950s with such ingenious gimmick flicks as Homicidal and The Tingler. Starring with her real-life ex-husband Robert Taylor, Stanwyck is a widow suffering from recurring dreams about her dead spouse (Hayden Rorke). Written by Robert Bloch, who wrote the book on which Psycho was based, this is a tepid chiller with laughable special effects. Stanwyck is great value, though.
