Some People (1962)(dvd)

Synopsis: This coffee bar musical arrived two months before the Beatles, but its moral values are those of the early 1950s: motorbikes and pop music equal juvenile delinquency, and what young tearaways need is spiritual guidance. (The film's profits went to the Duke of Edinburgh's relatively new Award Scheme, which is heavily plugged.)

Ray Brooks and David Hemmings are among the ton-up boys who are taken under the wing of lovable church organist Kenneth More. Not only naive charm, but also unusual Bristol locations, nice colour photography, and a bouncy title song.
