Shoot (1976) (dvd)

Synopsis: Cliff Robertson, Henry Silva and Ernest Borgnine find themselves deep in Deliverance territory in this little-known Canadian movie. It starts well as they go into the woods to hunt and find themselves in a shoot-out with a group of hostile hunters, who took a shot at them for no apparent reason. The rest of the movie focuses on their complex, deadly and increasingly improbable plans to wreak revenge on the attackers.

Things pick up towards the end, but it's too little and too late. Borgnine actually does very well with his material, portraying a character who realizes what they are doing is very wrong but still can't help getting sucked into the mess.
