Out Of Season (1975, dvd)

Synopsis: This stagey, moody, ambiguous love triangle, played in and around a holiday hotel in winter, will either intrigue or irritate, depending on one's predilection. The plot, such as it is, consists of the sex/power games played by three people: a middle-aged woman (Vanessa Redgrave), her teenage daughter (Susan George) and an American (Cliff Robertson) who enters their lives 20 years after his affair with the older woman.

Director Alan Bridges cleverly teases suspense from the conflict, but although the performances are excellent, the female roles are, by today's standards, sexual stereotypes.
