Holocaust 2000 (1977)(dvd)

Synopsis: The coming of the Antichrist is the theme of Alberto De Martino's spaghetti horror film — even the score is by Ennio Morricone — in which Kirk Douglas flexes his sense of morality and does battle with the Devil.

Meanwhile his cherub-faced son Simon Ward (who's called Angel) is committing obnoxious acts that are anything but angelic. Derivative of supernatural successes such as The Omen, its special effects only spark distaste, though its acts of Revelation send the goose pimples flying. Enjoyably appalling and appallingly enjoyable.
