Fire
with Fire (1986)(dvd)
Synopsis: Tale of teenage
angst which is not as salacious as it first sounds. Prim and proper Virginia
Madsen's hormones go into overdrive when she catches sight of mean and moody
junior convict Craig Sheffer (A River Runs through It), much to the disapproval
of all those around her.
Madsen and Sheffer do their best with the
clichéd material and there's good support from Jon Polito (Miller's
Crossing), but the story has been better told elsewhere.
